Kanata no Astra was the anime I was most looking forward to, and it disappointed me the most. The anime is not bad, just not as I expected.


The story of the anime is interesting until the second half of the anime, from this part the anime reveals a plot that would destroy my experience with the anime. The plot is not bad in the opinion sense, it is a technically large plot that is explored in a run and without further details, harms the anime.

The characters are many, among them only the youngest is little explored.


The animation of the anime is average, no scene that has something really well animated. Facial expressions are basic. To summarize, nothing new in the animation.


The design is standard. The characters are common, nothing new.

The scenery is beautiful, it has great variety, due to the fact that it is an anime of travel and exploration of planets. But the city scenarios are horrible.


The music is bad. There is no remarkable song and there is not much work to enhance the scenes. Of course there are exceptions, in rare scenes the music performs better.

Sound mixing is okay.


The voice acting is cool. The characters have good voice actors. They can do all that is lost, as much as possible.
