Good movie. He followed the story of the anime and left a good hook for the last film.

The story is good by itself. But the slow segment chosen for the film is a bit uncomfortable. The exaggerated focus on the secondary characters is a bit annoying as well. However with this sacrifice and scarcity of scenes of the protagonists makes each scene of them worthwhile. Good plot, bad segment.
The animation has nothing to talk about. The same as the anime, nothing much.
The design has had a significant improvement, both in consistency and richness of detail. The designs of the "chimino" (Chica umino) are beautiful, and here are explored at most with the most beautiful scenery.
The music remains spectacular and well placed. We do not have any lyrics, but they're still great.
The dubbing is a point that fell of level compared to the anime, this because of the ill-placed animation which impairs the performance and fitting of the voices.
Good movie. I hope the end and end is better.
